Dog Body Language
This eLearning project was developed for anyone involved in canine care to learn about and practice identifying the possible meaning(s) behind canine body language. This learning experience might be ideal for a canine care setting (e.g., veterinary clinic, boarding facility, grooming facility) that is experiencing higher than ideal incidents of aggression and whose employees are not aware of the body language warning signs that are often a precursor to these incidents.
Overview
Learning objective: After learning about dog body language, dog caregivers will be able to identify behaviors that indicate discomfort, fear, or potential aggression and initiate de-escalation measures. As a result, incidents of aggression will decrease.
Audience: Anyone involved in canine care (e.g., veterinary technicians, groomers, trainers, pet store employees)
Responsibilities: Instructional design, eLearning development, graphic design
Tools used: Articulate Storyline 360, Adobe Illustrator
